Waveguide components are used in a wide variety of radio frequency applications from satellite and terrestrial microwave radio communications, RADAR and navigation, medical scanners and industrial applications such as sterilizing equipment and food processing. While all of these applications make use of waveguide components in varying degrees, there are a wide assortment of frequencies, waveguide components, operating power levels and signal types used.
